About us

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service - in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

Rotary Club of Chelsea

Chelsea Rotary Club (District 1130) was first chartered in July 1928. Throughout its history the Chelsea RC has been active in the community supporting Cheyne Hospital for Children, Chelsea Boys Club, organising and supporting barbeques for disabled and disadvantaged children and participating in Rotary's "Kids Out". Each year the Club also hosts an annual Christmas concert for Chelsea old folk which remains a popular item in the community's calendar.

Chelsea RC also contribute with partner clubs in Hammersmith, Fulham, Shepherds Bush and Kensington to the Rotalec programme which provides drug education for school children in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and the City of Westminster.

Our partners are London's Rotary Club of Kensington and Inner Wheel in London.
