It has been a tradition for our members to volunteer to help the Royal Hospital at their stand at the Chelsea Flower Show.

30 September 2010 The London European Orchestra

The London European Orchestra and the Rotary Club of Chelsea join together to present an evening of musical masterpieces in aid of Trinity Hospice. The LEO is an EU ensemble formed by top young, vibrant musicians with an innate passion for music and a desire to deliver thrilling and exciting performances. The Trinity Concert Series is their first project in aid of Trinity Hospice.

20 August 2010 BBQ at Kids' Playday

The Rotary Club of Chelsea contributed to the Kids' Playday in Hornimans Park by cooking 1,400 hamburgers.

  First ShelterBoxes arrive in Port au Prince, Jan 2010

The first ShelterBoxes have arrived in Port au Prince and hundreds more are due to arrive into Port au Prince from Miami on a chartered aircraft. Thousands more ShelterBoxes are being packed and shipped from ShelterBox HQ in the UK. ShelterBox Founder and CEO Tom Henderson said: ‘The devastation in Haiti has moved everyone here. We now have our boxes on the ground and it’s a privilege to help. The scale of devastation is huge."
